Accounting - Oslo, Oslo, Norway
SBIO Accounting is the staff function that consults and advises the accounting and budgeting of the academic associations in SBIO. Our main task consists of controlling and advising the heads of finance in the different associations, as well as invoicing and maintenance of their budgets and bookkeeping. Our areas of responsibilities are controlling, invoicing and debt collection. We also take pride in working closely with BI's student bar SBIO Kroa AS, where we perform their accounting. As of now we are 29 active members with a passion for economy and accounting. Each member of our staff function is assigned their own area of responsibility. We are a well assembled group with a good share of BI students from several different bachelors and masters. Our staff function shall ensure that the economical knowledge of all the academic associations are optimal. We make sure of this through training, workshops and good communication both internally and externally. SBIO Accounting prides itself in having a high percentage of members going straight to a master's degree and are often offered relevant job opportunities after graduating from BI. Furthermore, we are also a very social group. Throughout the academic year we arrange several social gatherings such as New Year's dinner, cabin trips, summer parties, internal workshops and numerous academic events with well-known accounting firms.
