Scale Up Milwaukee is helping to foster a growth-driven and growth-obsessed region in Milwaukee. Using a proven model for fostering entrepreneurship, Scale Up Milwaukee convenes a diverse group of stakeholders to develop actionable strategies for high-growth, high-impact entrepreneurship in the region. The diverse group of stakeholders includes private sector leaders, public officials, investors, entrepreneurs, university faculty, and local economic development support groups. Scale Up Milwaukee helps to foster an entrepreneurship ecosystem that leads to significant growth events. Scale Up Milwaukee engages all parts of the ecosystem through various activities. The most notable is the Scalerator, a 6 month program that trains growth entrepreneurs. However, Scale Up Milwaukee's influence extends beyond those intense training sessions. There are also training opportunities for loan officers, various workshops throughout the year, and events to celebrate regional business growth milestones.
