Construction - Overland Park, Kansas, United States
I started this business to get back to my family roots which originate in small town Hastings Nebraska. I come from a long line of hard working Norwegians. My Great Grandfather Axel imigrated from Norway with my Great Grandmother Mini and started farming in South Dakota. They later purchased their own farm out side of Hastings Nebraska. My Grandfather served in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran and a life long member of the Disabled American Veteran, and he also had several business ventures. My father has owned his own concrete business for roughly 20 years now in and around the Kansa City area. So, I would say I get my Entrepreneur spirit from my families history and all those who are self employed and were self employed. I myself was an Independent Property Adjuster for roughly 12 years prior to opening Scandinavian Remodeling. The idea principal behind our company is to focus all of that drive and willingness to do whatever it takes to get it right the first time and project it on our customers projects. I felt there was a niche in the remodeling industry for a simple blue collar honest farm boy to come in and provide the highest level of quality work at the highest level of integrity. At the end of the day I want to better our community as a whole and realize that our clients and could run into each other in the grocery store as friends. I want to hold my head up high knowing I've done good not only for those who work with Scandinavian Remodeling but our community of Kansas City as a whole. Having the founding principal upheld makes me proud to know I'm doing my families heritage right!- Robert Loudon Owner
