Top organic/biodynamic vineyard in AOC Saint Chinian (Languedoc) producing multi-award winning wines from Syrah/Grenache. Our vineyards are one of the highest in the appellation at 250-300m altitude overlooking the Mediterannean, Pyrenees and Black Mountains. Production is mainly red, but we produce a small quantity of rosé ("Cerisiers") and will start producing white in 2014. Our range includes the following:Château de Combebelle AOC Saint Chinian Rouge(a blend of Syrah / Grenache primarily grown on red clay soils, aged in 1 year old barrels and tank for 12 months)Château de Combebelle AOC Saint Chinian Rouge " Les Fleurs Sauvages"(a blend of one block old vine Grenache and young vine Syrah adjacent to each other, aged in 1 year old barrels for up to 18 months)Château de Combebelle AOC Saint Chinian Rouge "Henri"(100% Syrah from one block planted in 2001 - used for Les Fleurs Sauvages - aged in new 500L barrels for 2 years - hand bottled into magnum - produced only in exceptional years - limited availability)Château de Combebelle AOC Saint Chinian Rouge "Hugo"(100% old vine Grenache - 45 years age - aged for 2 years in 500L barrel and tank - hand bottled into magnum - produced only in exceptional years - limited availability)
