Construction projects can be complex but the Southern Construction Framework can help. It offers fast access to market and competitive prices from highly regarded suppliers with a wealth of building experience. We have been creating and operating construction frameworks, usable by all public and third sector organisations in the South East, South West and London, since 2009. The core principles of all our frameworks are that, through collaborative working and early contractor engagement, the minimum out turn overall project cost can be achieved. We also strongly promote community benefits such as local engagement with SMEs and improved construction skills. Our Construction Frameworks are split by geographical area and by financial value. Our framework is governed by a Programme Board, made up of nine Southern authorities. We provide participating authorities with the security of a fully managed framework using a team of experienced Framework and Programme managers. The framework management team collect and share an extensive list of performance and benchmark data with the framework users and appropriate other organisations.
