No longer an initiative, SPI is where Science and Play Intersect. Dedicated to informal science education through play, SPI serves the public with a discovery space located in the new Wright Center of Kenyon College in downtown Mount Vernon, and has various outreach programming in local venues. SPI is operated by many dedicated part time staff and volunteers, providing opportunities for learning science and play through STEAM based activities and educational toys and hands-on exhibits.
