Founded in September 2016, Sciences Po Strasbourg Investment Club (SPSIC) is a long-only equity fund managed entirely by IEP students. It strives to provide an intensive educational experience to students interested in investing and financial markets. It also aims to successfully manage a portfolio of stocks, basing investment decisions on fundamental and technical analysis.SPSIC prides itself on providing investing education to its members. New members participate in a semester-long training program that includes financial analysis, financial modeling, portfolio and risk management. Upon successful completion of the program, new members are promoted to investment analysts and join sector-specific teams in which they help source and pitch investments, and also monitor sector holdings.
