About Scotland Regional Hospice:Since 1986, Scotland Regional Hospice has been committed to providing exceptional, compassionate end-of-life care to people in our community. A team of professionals and volunteers, including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplain, and bereavement counselor, provides personalized care for each patient and family we serve. Hospice care is for patients who are considered to be in the last 6 months of life, as certified by a physician. Our care focuses on pain control and symptom management. A team of professional staff members provides personalized care for each patient. Patients receive care in their homes, in rest homes, assisted living and long-term care facilities, as well as hospitals.
