The Scots-American Athletic Club have held an active team in various football leagues since 1931 but have traditions and origins in the football community since 1895. As one of the oldest football clubs in the United States - the Scots are now one of 10 teams competing in the Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL); as well as fielding a Men's Open team and partnerships with various community based soccer organizations and youth academies. They won the 1915 American Cup; the Lewis Cup in 1940 & 1948; and won 5 consecutive American Soccer League Championships from 1936-1941. They currently play home matches at Kearny High School in Kearny, New Jersey. The club is operated by the Scots-American Club in Kearny, New Jersey and privately funded.
