Screenwave International Film Festival Details
The Screenwave International Film Festival is the Coffs Coast Heart of Film. One of the fastest-growing film festivals in Regional Australia, SWIFF receives thousands of visitors through its doors each year to see a program of cutting edge world cinema, documentaries, industry events, screen art exhibitions, and premieres. The festival is helmed by Festival Director David Horsley and Artistic Director Kate Howat, and produced by a small Coffs Harbour-based team, working with private, government, and creative industry partners. SWIFF also features the largest youth film development program in Regional NSW, the REC Ya Shorts Youth Film Festival (www.recyashorts.com.au), co-presented by SWIFF and Headspace Coffs Harbour. Through our sister organisation, Film Outreach Australia, SWIFF helps venues develop their own film communities with curated, market-ready screening programs in partnership with Screen Australia and Create NSW.
