Scribe Designs was founded in 1999 as a partnership between a couple of students at Sowela Technical College, but when one of the partners dropped out it was run as a successful Sole Proprietorship for about 9 years, handling web-based solutions for projects ranging from storing and searching data for class-action lawsuits to creating HR job application solutions to maintaining websites for non-profit agencies. During that period the core staff never reached more than 3 employees at any one time, but Scribe Designs worked with a large virtual team of independent programmers, artists and web designers spread out across multiple states and three countries. After a period of low activity, the company is now working on a project for the ADA, and is looking for volunteers to assist with an overhaul of one of the websites we maintain for a non-profit agency.
