The company is build around my training as a sculptor and designer. A graduate in architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology, I studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, served in Vietnam in 1968 as a Combat Artist and received more sculptural training with Michael Lantz at the National Academy of Design, and pursued European methods of professional training, along with the study of philosophy and religion with Francis Schaeffer in Switzerland. I lived in Florence, Italy between 1970 and 1972, studying figure drawing with Madame Simi, plaster casting with Enzo Cardini, and stone carving at Romanelli Studios.Recently completed sculptural commissions include Faith, Hope and Love in 2007, 8.25' high, and Mother and Child, 2005, Bronze, 7' high, commissioned by White River Medical Center as a fountain center for the waiting lobby. The mother dances on the upper surface of water in exuberant joy over her new born child. In 2004, I created two life-size figures The Good Samaritan for a park in Baltimore and a relief for Notre Dame College of Baltimore caller Mother Teresa. Other public commissions include a 14½' bronze called Mariner for the front of the City Hall in Hampton, Virginia, a 19½' bronze called Wedlock for the entrance of Lafayette Center in Washington, D.C. and numerous portraits.
