Scythian Productions is a budding collective of strong voices whose mission is to tell diverse and authentic stories. Our name pays homage to the ancient Scythian tribe of which the myth of the Amazon women is created from. The women of this tribe were fierce warriors who fought and died along side the men in battle, riding horseback and shooting with bow and arrow. Their egalitarian lifestyle invoked fear and awe in the Greeks causing them to write paranoid stories about the dangers of strong women.
