We help clients create external relations strategies, teams and partnership systems with staying power. We engage communities on their terms. We build human bridges and facilitate networks to inform plans, projects and policies. Services are focused in three areas: 1. Strategy + Research: SDK leads research projects (perception audits, focus groups, surveys, media scans) to help clients understand stakeholder needs and perceptions. We design and facilitate processes with clients – from leadership teams to broad coalitions – to set direction. 2. Training + Capacity Building: We build the skills of leaders and practitioners in strategic communications and community engagement through hands-on workshops, training and coaching. 3. Project + Initiative Management: We manage coalitions, task forces, and multi-partner initiatives to keep partners engaged, and leverage a network of partners to execute creative communications tools that move strategy.SDK is fortunate to work with a state and local government, healthcare, foundation and nonprofit clients working on a range of topics like criminal justice system reform, public health, healthcare transformation, climate change and clean water, transportation and land use, and more, always with attention to equity, engagement and justice.
