SE Interior Design was founded in March 2009 by Sarah E. Tongate in Bloomington, IL. Incorporated with Architectural Designer Matthew J. Etcheson in July 2010.SARAH has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the International Academy of Design in Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Interior & Environmental Design from Illinois State University. Currently, she is completing her graduate studies for a Master of Science for Interior & Environmental Design at Illinois State University. Sarah is a student member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She is a Graduate Assistant on the IIDA Board at ISU for the student chapter and a Liaison for the students on the IIDA Central Illinois City Center professional steering committee. MATTHEW has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He is a LEED accredited professional. Currently, Matthew is completing his graduate studies for a Master of Science for Construction Project Management at Illinois State University.Before returning to their home town of Bloomington to pursue their graduate studies, Sarah & Matthew spent several years working in the design field in Chicago, IL. To date, SE Interior Design, Inc has completed many commercial and residential design projects.
