SeaCyprus is a registered non-profit organisation that aims to protect and monitor the coastal and marine environment of Cyprus including its marine habitats and species.Our monitoring is accomplished through underwater surveys, tagging and data analysis.As a team we aim to create marine protected areas in locations where there is exceptional abundance of marine species and ecosystems and where our endangered marine species inhabit and reproduce. Lastly, SeaCyprus aims to increase public awareness for the dangers occurring in the marine environment of Cyprus. This would be established through social media, seminars and public beach clean events. We also look forward as an organisation to invite other public speakers to our Island in order to aid in our seminar events.
