Sean & Sheri Dooney Family Foundation Details
The Sean & Sheri Dooney Family Foundation is a non-profit organization created in loving memoriam of Sean Michael Dooney Sr. who was swept out to sea in a tragic boating accident in May of 2018. The Foundation was started by his wife, Sheri Dooney, as a means to help support the many incredible organizations that have impacted Sean & Sheri's life together, and that of their seven children. The Dooney family has much gratitude for the overwhelming support their entire community has provided them over the years, and especially with the shock of Sean's recent passing. They hope to be able to carry on Sean's spirit through generosity and provision to those in underserved communities. The overarching goal of the Foundation is to create learning and growing opportunities within the greater Portland, Oregon and Pacific Northwest areas, through support of other organizations with similar missions and direct provision of aid to those facing limitations. We cannot wait to see the impact we can help to make through our efforts and love of Sean and his desire to build positive relationships in our community.
