SAR Unpad was officially founded on 10th April 1989. This organization activities concering humanity, social and environment efforts. SAR Unpad became one of the pioneers of Student SAR Organization. Several times SAR Unpad held a National SAR education with the number of students more than 200 people from all over Indonesia.Since its establishment, SAR Unpad has conducted hundreds of humanity activities like as sar operation, disaster mitigation, and even as the coordinator of outdoor safety-based activities. Where in every activity that always meet new people, new problems, and of course the new zone. Therefore members of this organizations need to pushing himself beyond the limit and increase their knowledge and skills in soft skills and hard skills for solving a problem in SAR Operation, disaster mitigation and outdoor activities based on safety. SAR Unpad is also often awarded the best community service organization in Padjadjaran University.
