Second Chance Thrift Shop was opened in 1988 with a mission to support HELP of Summerville. Over the years, the organization has grown and now supports 3 local non-profits with quarterly Community Support Awards. For 2020, our goal is to provide $100,000 in Community Support Awards with 50% going to HELP of Summerville. the remaining 50% will be split between Meals on Wheels of Summerville, and DCCO (Home of Hope and Hope's House)Through December 2019, Second Chance Thrift Shop has given Community Support Awards totaling over $705,000 to local charities.
