Gay marriage is a hot issue in the US. Secure Couple LLC was formed out of conversations with my uncle on this issue. What is marriage? Why does the LGBT community want the right to marry? What benefits and rights are afforded to wed couples that are denied to individuals who don't have the right to marry? Until marriage rights are granted to LGBT couples, what can we do in the meantime to publicly declare the status of our relationships, gain some of the rights that we are otherwise denied, and protect ourselves legally if necessary? At securecouplellc.com we attempt to answer these and other questions surrounding the marriage conundrum. Secure Couple LLC is NOT a substitute for marriage and does NOT intend to undermine the current effort to legalize same sex marriage, but rather offers itself as a stepping stone toward that eventual and ultimate goal.
