The 2016 Algonquin College public relation students have set out on a mission to not only raise awareness, but funding as well for the schizophrenia program at The Royal Mental Health Centre in Ottawa. So far we have raised over $20,000 to go towards the schizophrenia unit at the Royal Ottawa. In addition, 7 events were held throughout July 2016 to raise awareness and funds for the program. All social media platforms will also include information pertaining to schizophrenia itself, and other news. Further information can be found on our website www.seehearspeak.ca. We encourage all visitors to follow our page, share information and engage in the conversation to change the negative stigmas surrounding schizophrenia.
