ABOUT SEEKER:Founded in Santa Barbara in 2015, Seeker offers self-guided, app-based wine and craft beer tours. Many neighborhoods in cities across the world are now defined by wine or craft beer culture. Seeker captures the character of these areas through, "Seeker packs," which are specially curated offerings across multiple wineries or breweries. Users simply download the app, buy a Seeker pack, then visit multiple spots to redeem items like glasses of wine or beer tasting flights. Each participating business offers additional incentives to purchase something at their location, which together form an incredible bonus for the user. The Seeker app shows maps, great information, and displays all of the redeemable items and discounts. Unlike traditional tours, a Seeker pack can be used partially one day, and the rest another day. It offers an experience unlike any other, one that elegantly melds digital with real world. As an experience that particularly caters to the mindset of the millennial traveler, Seeker represents the "self-guided generation." We currently offer five branded tours in Santa Barbara and Solvang, Ca. After working with local businesses to form a Seeker pack, we build print materials, form hotel and corporate partnerships, and market to incoming groups. We are working on expanding outside of the area to offer Seeker packs across the nation. MISSION STATEMENT:Seeker pursues a vision of becoming the new way to experience wineries, craft breweries, and the areas characterized by their prevalence. By melding useful technology with local brick and mortar businesses, Seeker transforms the traditional tour into an adventure for the "self-guided generation." We aim to offer truly exceptional experiences that leave the tourist or the local wanting more.
