Sehat Kahani aims to democratize healthcare by building an all female health provider network to deliver quality healthcare solutions using tele-health, a phenomenon known to be the future of healthcare globally using 3 main business lines: 1) Access: By using trusted intermediaries in the communities and dormant health infrastructure, we create Sehat Kahani E- Health Hubs where a front line worker is trained via a 5 step training on medical knowledge, leadership and soft skills to connects patients in these Hubs to qualified home based female physicians and skills specialists using video consultation and Electronic Medical Records systems. We are now present in 3 provinces through the establishment of 14 E-Health clinics through which we have reached out to more than 50,000 patients and envision to expand to 100 E-Health clinics by 2021. 2) Prevention: Sehat Kahani through its preventive health care portfolio creates innovative preventive health care messaging activities in target communities to bring out a long term change in behaviours and health patterns. We are currently working with multinational organizations such as Unilever, GSK, LAO, and Engro Polymers to conduct extensive patient outreach programmes in our preventive healthcare portfolio. We have reached and impacted around 500,000 lives through this extensive portfolio. We are also working with the female inmates of Karachi Central Jail on a Mental wellness project and are currently running 3 mobile clinics Pan Pakistan in collaboration with Lifebuoy. 3) Efficiency: Through our specialized web-based tele-health platform we have designed digital health solutions to reduce the disease load of tertiary care hospitals by treating primary and secondary diseases via virtual female doctors (part of Sehat Kahani Physician's network) in less than 3 clicks. This is a digital tele-health solution for the mass market whereby people like you and me can also access a physician just from the click of their smartphone. We have recently launched the first successful B2B tele-health project with the employees of Unilever for the provision of healthcare services to them in a specialized field. They can login, book their appointments and have the consultations from the comfort of their offices or homes.IMPACT: Sehat Kahani constitutes a portfolio of 14 clinics across Pakistan in 3 provinces, has launched more than 10 preventive health campaigns with leading corporate and organizations, launched a wellness portal and most importantly has impacted over 500,000 people with an all female network provider of 500 female doctors.
