Provider of services for families of children with unique abilities & needs.First things first, outside of my work, I love to ride my Bianchi Pista, enjoy a nice meal with good friends, and have lots of laughs!I found my way into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2002 when I began working at a preschool for children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. Because of the love of the work I did at this school, I decided to continue my studies so I could excel in the field, thus earning a Master's degree with a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education with an emphasis in child development from Long Island University, NY. I received certification in Behavior Analysis in 2008 and have been practicing in an ethical way ever since.I am fortunate enough to have training in Applied Behavior Analysis including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), social skills training, Functional Communication Training (FCT), Natural Environment Training (NET) and Positive Behavioral Support (PBS). My expertise includes early intervention, school consultation, parent training, and developing behavior management support programs. I have a HUGE interest in Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) and how ABA can be used at the organizational level. If you have any thoughts on that topic, I would love to hear from you.
