Sem Fronteiras Press, Ltd (Portuguese for without borders) was created by authors Beti Rozen and Peter Hays. We are dedicated to writing and producing children's books that celebrate Brazil: its artists; its diverse history; its rich culture and the experiences of Brazilian immigrants around the world. Our goal is to inspire Brazilians and others with thoughtful books that contribute to bilingual education and celebrate Portuguese as a heritage language. Frequently, our award-winning books have spiritual themes, but they are non-religious in tone. As a small American publisher, we have worked with some of Brazil's top illustrators. Through other companies in Brazil and Colombia our books are currently available in Portuguese and Spanish. Sorry, but we do not accept submissions by other authors or illustrators.
