SEMS - Servizi per la Mobilità Sostenibile was born of a cooperation amongst three partners, which have been working for years in the field of mobility: Ferrovie Nord Milano Group – the major integrated group providing transport services in Lombardy and a leading operator of the transport sector after Ferrovie dello Stato – which is also SEMS parent company, Kaleidos, a short- and long-term car rental company and Micro-Vett, a leading company in Italy and among the first in Europe in the field of electric vehicle design and manufacturing. Over the first eighteen months of activity, SEMS has distributed all over Lombardy some 200 vehicles having little or no environmental impact in conjunction with important partners such as the Milan Underground, Ferrovie Nord, Niguarda Hospital, San Gerardo Hospital in Monza and about fifty Municipalities all over the region.
