Does the thought of figuring out Medicare fill you, or your clients/employees, with angst and dread? The decision is so fraught with anxiety...Costs, dates, penalties, coverage, etc. Medical costs represent a third to half of the average retired couples budget! This is not a decision one should guess at!It doesn't need to be this way! If you needed your taxes done, you would go to use the services of a CPA. If you need a will, an attorney. A retirement plan, a Financial Planner. That being the case, why try to figure out Medicare by yourself?Senior Benefits Boston works with Individuals, either directly or in conjunction with their Financial Advisors, to help weigh the various options available and create a plan that is the best balance of cost, benefits and exposure (out-of-pocket). We also serve as a resource for clients who can call with questions or issues rather than being forced to call a carrier's 800 number and waiting on hold. Each year, during fall Open Enrollment, we reach out to our clients, review changes in the plan for the coming year. At that time we also review changes in their unique situation to address any changes in:*health*medications*providers*income *address *pharmacy All of which have an impact in the decision as to which plan is "best" for the coming year. Sometimes the least expensive premium is the most expensive plan in a given circumstance. Per CMS rules there is NO charge to work with a licensed and insured experienced advisor. Clients pay the EXACT same amount if they enroll themselves in a plan or work with an advisor. By Federal law! Finally, we work with all available carriers allowing us to present plans without bias in a fiduciary capacity. CMS dictates what a carrier pays for a particular circumstance and all carriers pay the same amount allowing an advisor to have no favorite carrier and help the client find the best one for them.
