The Senior Care Hero Awards™ is known as the "Academy Awards" of the senior serving community and celebrates the contributions of the unsung heroes in the senior care industry, including professionals from physicians to caregivers, as well as those committed to seniors outside the health care industry.Proceeds from the event benefit SeniorServ, the largest Meals on Wheels and non-profit senior nutrition provider in Orange County. SeniorServ is dedicated to helping older adults live independently and with dignity, secure in home, health and heart. The non-profit also offers case management and in-home supportive services, Adult Day Health Care programs and Care Transitions services to reduce hospital admissions and readmissions. A leader in the Village Movement, SeniorServ's Incircle Village Network helps seniors develop local membership organizations that give them the confidence, connections and choice to live their entire lives in their own homes and communities.
