SeniorNavigator, a statewide non-profit, provides free health and community support information and guidance to seniors, caregivers and adults with disabilities and their families; supporting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Designed as an innovative service model combining information technology with community-building, we bring a "High-Tech and High-Touch" approach to healthy lifestyle and long term care support. SeniorNavigator's vision is for Virginians to be educated and empowered to make the difficult decisions associated with aging and overall well-being. Our core belief is that assisting individuals in locating and securing services is crucial to ensuring they can be a vital member of their communities across the lifespan.In January 2011, SeniorNavigator launched a "Family of Websites" including disAbilityNavigator.org, SeniorNavigator.org and VirginiaNavigator.org and other consumer and professional interfaces including VirginiaNavigator for Easy Access (State of Virginia portal in partnership with The Virginia Department for the Aging).
