Sense Connexion is a business established by Dr Mark Cariston Seton to inspire savvy resilience in actors and other professionals whose giftedness for empathy and senstivity is crucial to their effectiveness and success. Many such professionals are prone to compassion fatigue, burnout and even vicarious trauma. Dr Seton has, over many years of research and experimentation, developed a practical training program designed as a preventative tool to minimise such inevitable impacts. The Resilient Vulnerability System has been used by actors to enable them to take on demanding and potentially traumatising roles so that they can maintain both their vulnerability for performance, and their resilience in getting on in the day to day of life.
