Proposed as Master Degree Project for the Conservatory of Ghent, Olah Laszlo (violin) and Jelle Vastershaeghe (piano) present a musical collection of themes and melodies selected out of 50 years of film music, ranging from Gardel's Por Una Cabeza (echoed through music history by Pacino's famous performance in Scent of a Woman), over Michel Legrand's French jazz in film music to everlasting Disney classics.To fully obtain an extended sound palette, the music is backed up by a string orchestra and rhythm section, consisting of bass and drums, and a variety of guest artists are invited.
