After relocating to California's San Joaquin Valley in 2014 we had a vision of a place in the foothills of our two favorite National Parks. We found and fell in love with Serenity Rustic Retreat. We envisioned family, friends, and now all of our guests enjoying the untouched nature it provides for celebrations, reunions, vacations, camp outs, or just relaxation. After hosting guests first through Couchsurfing and then AirBnB in our own home we found we loved meeting people, making friends, and learning about the world through our guests. The opportunity to create a space where couples, families, and friends could make lifetime memories is an honor and a privileged. The entire family has contributed their individual skills to the retreat. The house is decorated with artifacts from all of our homes, family relics, and thrift store finds. In 2016 we hosted our first wedding. The wedding party and the guests loved it and we were hooked! We love providing a flexible space and a flexible personality for the weddings and vendors we work with.
