Presented by PPIA WA (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia di Australia / Indonesian Student Association in Australia - Western Australia), SERENATA is an annual charity music festival that aims to increase recognition towards the diversity found in Indonesia to both Australians and Indonesian. The event also encourages Indonesians to give back and always be reminded of the home country through contribution to Indonesia's development and welfare away from home. We would like to entertain Indonesians living in Perth by inviting Indonesian entertainers, musicians, or bands to perform on the event. Serenata also has art exhibition with artworks created by Indonesian artists as well as people associated with the charities we are collaborating with. We also serve the tastiest dishes on our food bazaar before the gate opens. Therefore, the audience would feel the vibe and culture all through the day. Outside stage and game stall will be there all around The Rocks area. Save the date, because this year's SERENATA will be on Saturday, 31st August 2019! We can't let you know who will be coming this year just yet. But we can assure you that this year's event going to be L-I-T. On top of that, SERENATA gladly informs you that all the profits of the event goes to the charities we pointed every year. Although the event targets mostly Indonesians, we would also like to invite all the locals who are keen on participating the event to learn more about our culture and have fun at the same time. Don't worry, we guarantee you will have one of the best days of your life this year!
