In framework of social reform and as a result of Mongolian democratic revolution it was required to graduate and supply specialists with high professional skills in conformity with tendency of market economy. Seruuleg University was established as the first private institute in Mongolia under the name of "Cooperative Institute" in parallel with the transition period in 25th of September 1990 with 5 teachers and 40 students. Seruuleg University brought its new academic building into exploitation and dormitory for 130 students consequently, the University has possibility to train 1650 students in 2 academic building for 2 shifts. The University was accredited by Educational organization accreditation 4 times by The Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation in 2001-2017 academic years. And its business and economics programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in year 2014.Since its establishment for almost 30 years, Seruuleg University experienced in education sector and moreover takes important role in Mongolian high education system with its operation orientated into the improvement of quality and access of high education service. Currently, the University has over 800 students; over 30 teachers from Mongolia, Korea and China.
