Sesa Mu is an agri-development organization focused on training farmers in conservation and climate smart agriculture, financial resource management, as well as encouraging and empowering the youth to venture into the agricultural value chain. Sesa Mu's organizational strategy and current successes are fueled by its founding partners' belief in reducing extreme poverty and unemployment in rural farming communities. Also, creating effective agriculture service systems to increase productivity and introducing easily adoptable innovations for small-scale farmers. Two operational components remain core to Sesa Mu's strategy, these include: 1. Farmer engagement and capacity building and 2. Business department. The organization's farmer engagement and capacity building operations work with 30 farmers in Berekuso, Eastern Region (Ghana) on conservation farming training and financial management training through Village Savings and Loan Association (VLSA). The organization also has business operations in small-scale dried pineapple production and a smoothie and pineapple supply venture. Currently, Sesa Mu's operations has been critical in uniting smallholder farmers and allowing them to take full advantage of certain agricultural service opportunities that have been impractical or inaccessible to them.
