Nonprofit Organization Management - Spokane, Washington, United States
The Setons are Gonzaga's sophomore service club. They serve the GU community based off three pillars of service, leadership, and sisterhood. This year, the Setons are supporting two charities: Artisans, which provides job support for individuals with disabilities, and Transitions, which provides care for low income and homeless women and children. There are two main fundraisers during the year, Charity Auction in the fall and Charity Ball in the spring, which support these organizations, and the we commit at least two hours a week to volunteering with mentoring programs at each organization. In addition to service with Artisans and Transitions, we also volunteer with other organizations and hold hold monthly fundraisers for both clubs within the university and off campus organizations.
