For a very long time, our country has been battling against the ever non-perishing issue of waste.The pitfall has always been our attitude towards this.We've always considered Kachra (waste) to be unwanted and unresourceful, something that has lost its value. And this is where we at SEWA are making a difference by creating resources out of it.SEWA was incorporated with the sole idea that nothing in nature truly loses its value in just 1 life cycle.We believe in the circularity of the materials, a fact that can be realized through a strong and efficient management system backed with effective scientific logic.Our entire concept revolves around treating waste as a resource and creating an efficient system to fabricate value-based products out of this resource.We believe in complete waste management, a practice that only a few of our contemporaries have taken up. For a sustainable future and a sustainable planet, we understand our responsibility to collectively address and manage all the environmental issues in a systematic manner.Hence we set out objectives clear;TOTAL WASTE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS-Plastic-Paper-Metals-Glass-OrganicNot only creating solutions but designing an effective system to achieve this goal was a huge part of our initial work plan.We worked continuously towards spreading awareness amongst all strata of the society and to include more and more people towards our cause.We believe in Preaching what we Practice, hence we push ourselves to organize more and more workshops, seminars, conferences.We emphasize more towards skill development as it supports the cause of #AatmaNirbhar_Bharat. We train and provide employment to our safari-this (rag-pickers)in terms of efficient and effective waste management system.
