SASS is Miami University's first survivor support community created in August 2020. SASS was established to give survivors and allies alike a community where they feel safe, supported, and heard. As a student-run organization, we strive to protect and empower survivors of sexual misconduct on Miami's campus while simultaneously fighting the existing culture that denies them the justice they deserve. We strive to accurately educate the community on sexual and interpersonal violence and advocate for the survivors of SIV. We are also in collaboration with other intercultural organizations on campus as well as Women Helping Women.
