SFAC (the Association for Smoke-free Apartments and Condos) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending unwanted secondhand smoke (SHS) invasions in multi-unit apartments and condos. SFAC helps apartment and condo dwellers who are suffering from unwanted secondhand smoke invasions defend their rights via case-by-case advocacy. SFAC also educates multi-unit residents who smoke as well as landlords, property managers, and homeowners' association boards. SFAC works with liability insurers and government agencies to promote smoke-free environments in multi-unit complexes. SFAC also supports legislation and local ordinances that result in smoke-free apartment and condo complexes.
