Founded in 1950, Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute (SXPI) is the leading government technical and vocational education and training college in China. SXPI is located in Xi'an, the provincial capital of Shaanxi, Xi'an is an ancient city with over 3000 years history and 10 million habitants. SXPI is the only TVET institution in North-Western China to be awarded an A level TVET institution by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance in 2019. In whole China, there is only ten A level TVET institutions, the highest level in TVET ranking. SXPI has nearly 21,000 students studying in three year diploma programs. They live on campus engaging with 66 individual programmes in areas such as manufacturing, electronics and electrical, mechanical engineering, information technology, business, public service, automotive, logistics, civil works, textile, clothing and arts. SXPI has the state and art teaching facilities and the first class teaching staffs. Our teaching delivery is quality and relevant to the requirement for skilled persons in industry, especially during the time of disruptive time of technology. We have nearly 100 partners in the world. Most of our cooperation focuses on students and teachers exchange, academic communication and international conference. We also enroll international students from different countries and welcome teaching staffs from our partners for teaching capability training in SXPI.
