SHACK Architecture is a Wirral based practice dedicated to excellence in design and committed to providing clients with a first class service. Conceived as an idea in 2003 and finally fully established in 2011 SHACK Architecture is a small but vibrant practice specialising in private healthcare, commercial, retail and all things residential. Led by a chartered architect with over 16 years' experience, the team at SHACK count amongst their number architects and senior technicians with many years' experience in all sectors offering a complementary range of skills and knowledge.SHACK Architecture is well experienced in the provision of innovative design solutions to challenging project criteria. We have worked on projects as diverse as speculative industrial units, state of the art IVF facilities, listed building refurbishment and restoration, psychiatric care facilities, historic churches, bespoke one off houses, speculative residential schemes for private developers, supermarkets and community facilities. We have a particular interest in coastal projects having previously been involved with sailing centres, beach cafes and beach houses. We are also interested and passionate about sustainable design. All of our projects aim to achieve the highest possible energy rating and to utilise sustainable construction techniques and materials. We also have a particular interest in strawbale building and have attended practical training courses in this technology.We are able to work with clients to formulate comprehensive briefing documents and are happy to advise on projects of any size. We are proud that our philosophy of building relationships with our clients has led to many repeat commissions over the years and we look forward to this continuing into the future.
