Oh, Hello. We're Amy Stephenson and Shane Langan and we've been writing together since 2005, mainly as part of the Dublin comedy group Diet of Worms. We cut our teeth on the Irish and UK comedy circuits, writing and performing our own comic plays and sketch shows. Along with Diet of Worms, we created several successful shows for the Edinburgh & Dublin Fringe festivals as well a number of web series that gained cult followings. We got our big break when Taste of Home, our award winning web series about an eccentric Dublin family was turned into the BBC sitcom The Walshes. Since then, the two of us have struck out as a writing team, working on several children's television programmes, including Dorg Van Dango (Nickelodeon), Jessy and Nessy (Amazon), Wissper (Channel 5) and most notably as Head Writers on the Nickelodeon series Becca's Bunch. In March 2019, we won Best Preschool Writer at the Irish Animation Awards for our Becca's Bunch episode ‘Acorn King‘. We were also nominated in the same category for our Mya Go episode ‘Karting'.
