As a professional visual art studio, Sheng studio has large scale artworks installed in four of the world's ten tallest buildings. To date, Sheng studio has completed 60 large-scale permanent public art projects at locations around the world. Shan Shan Sheng's work is often directly inspired by peace, humanity, and creative expression across cultures. Based in San Francisco, Sheng has been honored as a recipient of two Best Public Art Awards, from Americans for the Arts and from the Minister of Culture for Taiwan. Sheng's "Open Wall" large scale sculpture was including in the 53rd Venice Biennale as part of an exhibition organized by the International Association of Art, UNESCO, Italian Committee. Most recently, Sheng received the prestigious Medici "Lorenzo IL Magnifico" Awards, City of Florence . 2019Her works appear in public collections and art museums around the world including Harvard University, China National Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, the Chinese World War II Memorial, Beijing Daxing International Airport, the Port of Miami, and the San Francisco Arts Commission.
