Shana Carlsen is a 21st Century architectural visionary whose innovative design concepts continue to influence and impact key movers in the greater architectural community. Shana Carlsen's focus for two decades has been on research and design of a prototypical 21st Century green community. This environmentally friendly community is low profile, partially subterranean, secure and self-sustaining. Resort styling and a high quality of living are envisioned based on a unique blending of low-impact architecture, landscaping, agriculture, aquaculture and bio-forestry, all of which will be functionally integrated with the best available technology. As a holistic community, this project will have its own primary food supply and water regeneration capacity, it will be a net producer of environmentally-friendly, or renewable energy and will not rely on noisy, polluting transport.
