The Shanghai Pacific Energy Center (SPEC) is a Green Building high-tech consulting unit founded in 2001 by the Tongji University and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. SPEC is a member of the USGBC and the Shanghai Green Building Council. SPEC, supported by the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. and the Tongji Univ., aims at promoting the progress of energy technology to achieve the social and economic sustainable development by studying and providing consultation of energy and green building. Since 2001, SPEC has been energy saving consultant for over 30 projects. The building types include factory, office, hotel, hospital, airport, stadium, villa, etc. Business Scope: Green Building technical consulting, including building physical analysis:- Green Building certification management, including LEED and local Three Stars.- Building Dynamic Energy Analysis.- Building Energy Design Optimization.- Building CFD Simulation.- Lighting&Daylight Simulation.- Comprehensive Energy Saving solutions for retrofit projects.- Sustainable design.- Green Building training and technology promotion.- Building Commissioning, Measurement&Verification.
