Shanti Kids is a school dedicated to offering fun, age appropriate classes where all children can learn not only through play and exploration, but also by having an academic program that matches their learning capabilities. Our curriculum is designed to instill confidence and help each child grow academically, physically, socially, and cognitively in a safe and stimulating environment. Our experienced certified staff wants children to feel comfortable and safe while they experiment, learn, create, and question. We strive to create an environment where children feel safe to engage in the different activities that will enable them to learn, and one in which they are respected, empowered, trusted, and understood. We believe young children learn by doing, actively engaging in physical experimentation in order to find out the different ways things work. By observing the strengths and interests of each child our teachers create activities that allow children to explore the world, make discoveries, and develop their cognitive, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social capacities. Particularly important to our curriculum and system as a whole is the integration of extracurricular activities that incentivize and develop the artistic and creative capabilities of the children. We are fully committed to developing individual plans that hone in on each child's specific interests and abilities while promoting creativity through art, design, and other proactive activities designed to maximize potential and ensure a brighter future from an early age.
