WHO WE ARES.H.A.R.E. is a non-profit organization aimed atmicrofinance, fair trade and peace promotion,with office headquarters in Stuttgart and Bern.OUR PHILOSOPHYS.H.A.R.E. stands for the principles of Self Help,Activation, Responsibility and Empowerment.Our work promotes individual responsibility forbuilding global peace by first acknowledging thosepeople who suffer from systemic poverty, discriminationand displacement caused by violent conflict.We believe that creating pathways at the grassrootslevel can help individuals build more channelsto mobilize their own futures.Our ambition to help many people to becomeself-actualized and self-reliant is evident at projectsites in countries that have emerging economies,are still developing, as well as those that are stillmired in conflict. OUR PROJECTS We perform work via three pillars of activism:MicrofinanceWe provide entrepreneurs with small loans thatcontribute to starting SMEs (small and medium-sizedenterprises) in emergent and developing countries.Fair TradeWe promote initiatives, that raise awareness of fairwork and fair prices for commodities.Peace promotionWe support projects in conflict regions, especiallyin the Middle East and Africa. In this way we wantto encourage understanding and tolerance in orderto raise the necessary awareness of a path withoutviolence, hatred and terror.
