dba Project SHARESHARE is a clearinghouse of social justice volunteer opportunities for students. SHARE the Project is a community service group invested in sharing students' time in acts geared to making a difference in the larger community. Our projects include monthly Midnight Runs, the Thanksgiving Dinner for the Homeless, Empty Bowls, AIDSWalkNY, and Crossing Borders. We work with the local community to provide food and supplies to homeless and hungry poor of the greater New York area. Our projects raise money to help those in need and attempt to bridge the gap between the homed and the homeless.SHARE the Project works to address and bring awareness to homelessness and hunger in and around New York City. We care for those on the street and those who cannot provide for themselves, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability or language. We encounter people from all walks of life while interacting with the homeless of New York City. SHARE has helped guide high school and college students toward a greater understanding and investment in the social responsibilities required to insure a brighter tomorrow for everyone.
