Management Consulting - Lexington, Massachusetts, United States
I recently founded SLC, in 2017, because I often saw clients and leaders whose needs were not entirely met through a standard strategic planning process. There were often opportunities to go a step further or deeper and to focus on questions or challenges that would be vital to the organization's ability to implement the plan. I realized that because of my experience – having led decentralized organizations, having overseen the development and implementation of operational systems and functions, having been a fundraiser and a funder - I would often see critical questions or issues that required deeper attention. It has been exciting and rewarding to see the difference it makes to be able to integrate my operating and funding experience with my strategic consulting background and to closely tailor the scope of work to what the client needs to take their impact to the next level. SLC works with both nonprofit organizations and private foundations to provide organizational consulting and executive advising in the areas of Strategic Planning, Organizational Design and Operating Model Development, Philanthropic Strategy, Funding Model Development, Implementation Planning and Execution, and Capacity Building.
