Shebooks – short e-books by and for women – offers a highly curated selection of books on the topics women care about most. Sold by subscription and as e-singles and downloadable on tablets, smart phones, and e-readers, Shebooks are designed to be read in under 2 hours – perfect for busy women (that would be you, right?) and a great alternative for book clubs. With original memoir, fiction and journalism by established and emerging women authors, Shebooks bridges the gap between magazines and books with content that's easy to discover, convenient to access, and a joy to read. Shebooks has published more than 60 short e-books as of August 2014. Our authors include Caroline Leavitt, Beth Kephart, Mona Gable, Teresa Wiltz, Barbara Graham, Mary Jo McConahay, Jessica Anya Blau, Marion Winik, Robin Romm, Kate Flora, Sallie Tisdale and many more. Shebooks won a seed grant from the New Media Women's Entrepreneurial Fund in 2013, completed a successful Kickstarter campaign in June 2014, and is currently in its first angel round of funding.
